In 2004, Kevin in't Veld reached the summit of Mt. Kilimanjaro, an exhilarating feat that marked a milestone in his mountaineering journey.

A decade later, in 2014, he set out to conquer the same peak again, this time as a training climb for his ultimate goal: Mount Everest. However, the
climb in 2014 was different. Older and more experienced, Kevin faced an unexpected challenge that would test his limits like never before.

As he ascended the heights of Kilimanjaro, Kevin began to suffer from severe High Altitude Sickness, a condition he had not encountered in his
previous climb. The lack of proper preparation and failure to consider lessons learned from his past experiences nearly cost him his life. The ordeal
was a stark reminder of the importance of learning from the past and adapting to new circumstances.

Motivated by this harrowing experience, Kevin, the CEO of the Bridigt Group, an international project management outfit specializing in the
EPC/M domain, along with his dedicated team, created Knowledge Flow. Drawing on his vast facilitation workshop experience, his expertise in
design thinking methodology for project management, and his deep understanding of numerous lessons learned tools and methods, Kevin and
his team developed Knowledge Flow.

Built within the Microsoft Power Platform, Knowledge Flow features a fully guided methodology utilizing SharePoint lists and Power BI
dashboards. This powerful integration ensures that no valuable experience is ever overlooked. Knowledge Flow empowers individuals and
organizations to systematically capture insights, analyze outcomes, and implement corrective actions to avoid repeating mistakes. Furthermore,
Knowledge Flow emphasizes learning from opportunities as well, turning both challenges and successes into stepping stones for continuous
improvement.

Kevin’s near-fatal encounter on Kilimanjaro became the catalyst for Knowledge Flow, transforming a personal lesson into a powerful tool for
success.
